Reservation of apartments

Contracting Parties
These terms and conditions form part of the contract between Prague Siesta Apartments and you, our guests.

Accommodation (check-in), availability and reservations
Check-in is available from 14:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 11:00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Failure to check-out on time may result in additional charges. The availability of accommodation under the conditions shown on our website may be limited and/or restricted to certain times of the year.

Deposits and payments in advance
We will require a fee of 100% of the accommodation price as a deposit. Deposit reductions can only be negotiated for long term bookings. All deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations and changes

PLEASE NOTE: All cancellations and changes must be made in writing. If the cancellation or change is notified within 14 days prior to the arrival date, 50% of the total price of the reservation will be charged. If the change is notified later, or if the customer does not arrive, the full price of the reservation will be charged.

We reserve the right to cancel any booking if you or any member of your party causes damage to property, furniture or contents, or in the event of serious disturbance to neighbours.

Parking
We have no parking spaces for cars.

Cleaning
Unless agreed otherwise , the apartment is rented on a self-catered basis. For stays of more than one week, the price includes general cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels. Weekly cleaning does not include dishwashing and rubbish removal.

By prior arrangement, we can also arrange more frequent linen and towel changes for a fee.

Keys loss
For loss of keys we charge a fee of 750 CZK or 30 EUR.

Complaints and comments

Please direct any complaints or comments to our reception. Any complaint has a better chance of being handled if you make it while you are still present.

Prague Siesta Apartments reserves the right to charge you for any property stolen or damaged during your stay. We will provide you with a full breakdown of these charges, which may also include an administration fee to offset our costs.

General information
Although we have taken all reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of the information contained herein, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions and reserve the right to amend or remove any information as we deem necessary. Prague Siesta Apartments cannot be held responsible for events beyond its or its suppliers’ control (such as fire, strike, industrial action by employees, technical problems with transport or bad weather), nor for any reduction, cancellation or change in accommodation, activity or itinerary times caused by such events. Prague Siesta Apartments excludes any loss of valuables or damage to property as well as any direct, indirect or consequential loss suffered by you other than death or personal injury arising from the negligence or omission of Prague Siesta Apartments, its management or employees. If you are bringing any valuables, please discuss this with management on arrival. Your legal rights remain unaffected.

Insurance
Guests are advised to take out their own insurance to cover loss and damage to their personal property during their stay, as well as adequate personal and travel insurance.

Guests occupancy
The apartment will only be occupied by the persons listed on the booking form. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee if we discover that the apartment is occupied by persons not listed on the booking form, and we reserve the right to ask the entire group to leave the premises. We also reserve the right to retain the deposit paid in these circumstances. Payment for unused days will not be refunded.

In the event of any complaints about noise or disrespect or damage to property, we reserve the right to require visitors to leave the premises with immediate effect, without compensation for unused days.

We reserve the right to refuse any reservation if we have reasonable grounds to suspect that the customer would not use the apartment responsibly. This includes cases of behaviour contrary to good manners and public order.

Prices
Although prices are subject to change at any time without notice, your price is guaranteed from the moment you receive your booking confirmation. If you are a business customer, we can offer credit terms of up to 28 days. Please refer to your invoice.

Smoking
Please note that all our apartments are non-smoking. If you do not comply with our non-smoking policy, you will be charged an extra cleaning fee of 2600 CZK or 100 EUR.

Pets
Pets are allowed by prior arrangement only.

Trespass
Prague Siesta Apartments staff or designated persons have the right to enter the apartment premises at any reasonable time to inspect or carry out necessary repairs or maintenance.

Data Privacy Statement
Your address and credit card details are held solely for the information purposes of the credit card provider and your address will not be disclosed to any third party. Any other data we hold about you is used strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

Building rules

• Please do not smoke in the apartment. Smoking is allowed on the terrace/patio.
• Please contact us in advance if you wish to bring your pet. Most pets are welcome at our place.
• You can get a second set of keys at the front desk if you need them.
• Please be careful with the keys. Never put the key in the lock from the inside – it is not necessary (the door cannot be opened from the outside without the key), and will prevent you from having to change the lock. If this still happens, you will be charged CZK 2,000 to change the lock.
  If your suitcase has wheels, do not drive it on the apartment floor.
• Please do not unplug the Wi-Fi modem – contact staff if you have any problems.
• Please respect the neighbours, especially after 22:00.
• Please lock the main barred gate after 22:00.
• One large and one small towel and one set of bed linen are provided for each guest in the apartment. Please do not use the towels to dry the bathroom floor, a floor cloth can be found under the sink. Basic toiletries are provided in the bathroom. If you need extra towels, please ask the staff.
• We do not do daily cleaning, but please contact the staff whenever your apartment requires cleaning.
• If you need your laundry done, ask the staff – we will do it for a small fee.
• If you arrive with a small child, we offer a highchair and cot for hire – on request at reception.
• Please turn off all lights whenever you leave the apartment.
• In winter and late autumn, make sure you know how to control the heating.
